In the TAMCAM control system, the explicit separation is provided by a message queue mechanism between the simulation and the execution system. This message queue mechanism is illustrated in Figure 3. The simulation-based decision maker sends task request messages to the execution system through the message queue. Once the execution system has completed the task, it returns a completion message to the decision maker through the message queue.
